Theft

WILLMAR -- A woman reported that a purse containing credit cards and Social Security cards had been stolen from her vehicle in the 1400 block of 12th Avenue Northeast in Willmar. The theft was reported Sunday afternoon.

WILLMAR -- The theft of $100 from a purse at the Uniform Outlet at the Kandi Mall was reported Friday afternoon.

WILLMAR -- A billfold containing a Social Security card, credit cards and cash was reported stolen in the 1200 block of Dana Drive Southeast. The theft was reported Saturday afternoon.

Identity theft

WILLMAR -- A Willmar woman reported Friday evening to Willmar police that she had been the victim of identity theft.

Vandalism

WILLMAR -- A resident in the 600 block of Eighth Street Southwest reported Saturday evening that someone had tampered with rocks, wire, garbage cans, garden hoses and other items in yards in the area. Two bird feeders had been broken. Two people were seen walking through the neighborhood at about the same time, but officers were unable to locate them.
