- Two people were arraigned Monday on charges stemming from a search warrant conducted in Atwater last Thursday.
According to the criminal complaints filed against Kendra Star Pregler, 28, and Jory Michael Behrends, 30, both of Atwater, the two were arrested on Thursday on methamphetamine charges.
The CEE-VI Drug Task Force received information from an informant that Pregler had sold marijuana to the informant and that Behrends had been selling methamphetamine, according to the complaint.
When agents and members of the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department searched their home at 16740 First Ave. E. on Thursday, they found four bags of methamphetamine weighing a total of 19.1 grams. Police also found drug paraphernalia including syringes, scales and snort tubes, as well as a small amount of marijuana, the complaint says.

There were also three children living in the house, the complaint says.
Pregler admitted to selling marijuana on a few occasions since last May and said that Behrends had been using and selling methamphetamine, the complaint says.
Pregler and Behrends each face one count of first-degree controlled substance crime and one count of first-degree controlled substance crime - liability for the crimes of another.
Pregler's unconditional bail was set at $50,000 and her conditional bail was set at $10,000. Behrend's unconditional bail was set at $75,000 and his conditional bail was set at $20,000.
- A Willmar man was sentenced to 60 days in jail and five years of probation Monday for beating up another man on July 15.
According to the criminal complaint, Gerald James Springer, 25, beat up another man at the 700 block of Fourth Street Southeast on July 15.
Two witnesses said Springer walked up to the man and punched him twice in the face, the complaint says. Neither witness had seen any dispute between the two.
The man was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital where he had bruising and swelling the right side of his face. It was also found he lost a tooth in his lower jaw and that his jaw had been fractured, the complaint says. The man had lost consciousness after the attack.

When police arrived at the fight scene, Springer began to run and police had to use a Taser four times in order to bring him under control, the complaint says.
He pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree assault.
One count of obstructing the legal process was dismissed.
Springer was given a stay of imposition for five years, meaning if he complies with probation for five years, the crime won't go on his felony record.
He was also fined $1,087 and will have to pay $1,100.37 in restitution charges.
He will receive credit for eight days he's already served in jail, will have to undergo anger management and chemical dependency treatment and can't have contact with the victim, among other conditions.
He was sentenced by Judge Donald Spilseth.
- A Willmar man was arraigned Monday on methamphetamine sale charges.

According to the criminal complaint, Barrett Jon Holien, 23, sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant working for the CEE-VI Drug Task Force on two occasions.
Holien allegedly sold 3.5 grams of methamphetamine to the informant on Sept. 13 and 7.4 grams of methamphetamine to the informant on Sept. 16.
He faces one count of first-degree controlled substance crime.
His unconditional bail was set at $100,000 and his conditional bail was set at $50,000.
- A Rochester man pleaded guilty to one count of theft for stealing electronics and clothing from Target in Willmar.
According to the criminal complaint, Keith Allen Wilcox, 45, and another man allegedly stole $1,175.46 worth of DVDs and clothing from the Willmar Target on Oct. 12.
Wilcox pleaded guilty to one count of theft Monday. Another count of theft was dismissed.
He will be sentenced on Dec. 28.
