Noise citations issued Saturday to management of hotel, band
WILLMAR -- Noise citations were issued around midnight Saturday at the Holiday Inn, 2100 U.S. Highway 12 E., to the hotel management and management for the Hairball band, which was playing at the hotel. Police had been previously called around 11:20 p.m. on a noise complaint at the same location.
Burglary
SPICER -- A home burglary was reported around 2 p.m. Sunday along Indian Beach Road.
Theft

WILLMAR -- The theft of $258 in cash was reported around 11:35 a.m. Sunday at Hennen Furniture, 3901 Abbott Dr. S.E.
WILLMAR -- The theft of liquor was reported around 9:30 p.m. Saturday at Super Wal-Mart, 700 19th Ave. S.E.
Assault
SPICER -- A 21-year-old woman reported she had been assaulted by a man around 11:45 p.m. Friday along Lake Avenue South.
Property damage
WILLMAR -- A case of property damage was reported around 8 p.m. Saturday along the 1000 block of 73rd Avenue Northwest.
Arrests
WILLMAR -- A 24-year-old Willmar man was arrested on charges of first-degree aggravated robbery and driving while impaired around 2:40 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Seventh Street and Ella Avenue Northwest. The arrest came after a man reported he had been robbed of $100 at knifepoint nearby.

WILLMAR -- A 31-year-old Paynesville man was arrested for driving while impaired around 3:45 a.m. Sunday at the Holiday Inn, 2100 U.S. Highway 12 E., after fire crews responding to a fire alarm noticed a man slumped over the steering wheel of a parked vehicle.
WILLMAR -- A 19-year-old Willmar female was arrested on charges of receiving stolen property and no driver's license around 4:45 p.m. Saturday along the 400 block of First Street South. The arrest came after police discovered the vehicle she was driving was reported stolen.
