Railroad crossing on Highway 4 in Grove City to close Monday
GROVE CITY -- The railroad crossing on state Highway 4 in Grove City will be closed starting Monday as Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railway crews perform track repair.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation will detour Highway 4 traffic onto Second Street and Meeker County Road 11. The detour adds approximately 1 mile.
Weather permitting, the railroad crossing work is expected to be completed in about one day.

Theft
WILLMAR -- Home State Bank reported Tuesday morning receiving two counterfeit $50 bills.
WILLMAR -- Cash Wise Foods reported Tuesday morning that a woman left the store with a bag of groceries without paying. Two employees attempted to stop her from leaving, but she almost hit them with her vehicle, according to the Willmar police report.
The woman had long, dark curly hair and was wearing a gray long-sleeved sweatshirt. She faces theft and reckless driving charges, according to the report.

LAKE LILLIAN -- The Lake Lillian Fire Department responded to a fire at 5:52 a.m. Tuesday at a café in the 600 block of Lakeview Street South in Lake Lillian.
A grease fire started on the grill and was put out with a fire extinguisher, Fire Chief Ross Wittman said. The fire caused some smoke damage, he said.
