Burglary

WILLMAR -- A trailer was reported burglarized to the Willmar Police Department around 5:10 p.m. Wednesday at the Regency East Estates, 1400 Lakeland Drive N.E.

RAYMOND -- A building was reported burglarized to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department around 7:35 a.m. Thursday at Goeman Oil Co., 404 Spicer Ave. A window on a building behind the station was reported broken. Some items may have also been stolen.

Theft

WILLMAR -- The theft of a coin purse and approximately $30 worth of quarters was reported to the Willmar Police Department around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday along the 100 block of Becker Avenue Southeast.

PENNOCK -- The theft of a purse was reported to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department around 7:40 a.m. Thursday along the 200 block of Fourth Street Northwest. The purse was reportedly taken from a car that was broken into.

Gas drive-off

WILLMAR -- A gas drive-off of $33 was reported to the Willmar Police Department around 7:25 p.m. Wednesday from SuperAmerica, 415 S. First St.

Vandalism

NEW LONDON -- Two doors on the concession stand at the New London-Spicer High School football field were reported damaged to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department around 5:05 p.m. Wednesday.

WILLMAR -- Damage to a bike, garage window, storm window and magnetic sign was reported to the Willmar Police Department around 6:05 p.m. Wednesday along the 400 block of 12th Street Northwest. Another magnetic sign was also reportedly stolen.

Fire call

WILLMAR -- Willmar authorities responded to an apparent fire around 11:10 a.m. Thursday in an apartment along the 300 block of Seventh Street Southwest.

The Willmar Fire Department along with three Willmar police officers, and Willmar Ambulance responded to the basement apartment after receiving a call that smoke was coming from the basement and smoke detectors had been going off for at least 30 minutes. The call also reported that no one was answering the door to the apartment.

When authorities entered the basement, they discovered that the smoke was caused by burning food and not a fire.

Hit and run

WILLMAR -- A maroon Chevy pickup with a silver stripe reportedly veered off the road around 1:25 p.m. Wednesday and smashed a string of four mailboxes along the 900 block of 15th Street Southwest, according to a report to the Willmar Police Department.
