Arrests

WILLMAR — A 23-year-old woman was arrested on drug and domestic violence charges around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday on the 1000 block of Seventh Street Southwest after law enforcement responded to the residence multiple times throughout the night.

According to the incident report, the drug charges were dropped against the woman.

According to law enforcement documents, the man reported the woman had assaulted him Monday night but didn’t want to report it because he was going to travel to Florida soon regarding custody of his children.

The man told law enforcement he was scared she would come back, though she said she would not. The man said he didn’t want to talk any further or get her in trouble.

Around 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, officers again responded to the same address to address a verbal argument between the two, which was mediated.

About an hour later, officers came back to the residence because the man was trying to leave but the woman took his luggage and was preventing him from doing so. The male then left the residence, according to the incident report.

The final interaction the couple had with officers that night around 11:20 p.m. led to the woman being arrested on multiple drug charges, that have since been dropped, along with domestic charges, according to the description in the incident report. The incident report only lists drug charges for the woman.

Charges against the man are being reviewed by the Kandiyohi County Attorney’s office, according to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office.

WILLMAR — A 31-year-old man and a 18-year-old woman were arrested on drug charges during a traffic stop around 4 a.m. Tuesday on the corner of Trott Avenue and First Street South.

Gas stolen from vehicles

NEW LONDON — Law enforcement responded to a report around 11:10 a.m. Tuesday of two vehicles that were damaged on the 17000 block of Highway 23 Northeast.

According to the report, there was evidence left behind that gas was stolen from the vehicles.

Two vehicles reportedly had cut gas filler lines within the last month at the property, according to the report.

Theft

LAKE LILLIAN — Someone contacted law enforcement around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday from the 9100 block of 123rd Avenue Southeast to report buying a boat lift from a party and another party stated the lift actually belongs to them and the sellers did not have a right to sell the lift.

WILLMAR — A person reported the theft of a couple of crowbars around 11:40 a.m. Monday on the 400 block of 11th Street Southwest.

According to the report, the person requested an extra patrol but didn’t want to do anything else.

Yard damage

WILLMAR — A homeowner reported a tan truck went through their yard and tore it up around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday on the 2500 block of Seventh Avenue Southeast.

According to the report, there were tire tracks leading from the road onto the lawn and driveway and then back onto the street.

Law enforcement was unable to locate the vehicle.

WILLMAR — Damage to a yard and mailbox was reported around 10:20 a.m. Tuesday on the 6300 block of 24th Street Northeast.

Drug disposal

WILLMAR — A person contacted law enforcement because they wanted drugs taken around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday on the 900 block of Meadow Lane Southwest.

According to the report, law enforcement took the drugs and disposed of them.
