Narcotics arrest
HAWICK - Two people face pending charges of fifth-degree drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after a narcotics search warrant was conducted Tuesday morning.
Officers from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office and Willmar Police Department arrested a 28-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man around 11 a.m. Tuesday in the 15000 block of 232nd Avenue Northeast in Hawick.
The two suspects remain in custody at the Kandiyohi County Jail, Police Chief Jim Felt said.
Assault
WILLMAR - It was reported at 8 p.m. Monday that a woman had been sexually assaulted in the 1800 block of Becker Avenue Southeast.
A man who the woman did not know reportedly groped her inside of an apartment building and then ran outside onto Becker Avenue. Police were unable to locate the suspect.
