Arrests
WILLMAR — A 26-year-old man was arrested for assault around 2:11 a.m. Monday on the 800 block of Campbell Avenue Northwest.
According to Willmar Police Chief Jim Felt, police responded to a physical altercation between two men that live in the same house.
The argument was over one being loud when the other had to work early in the morning.
The man arrested apparently struck his roommate over the head with a baton type object.

The injured man was brought to the hospital by ambulance and there is currently no information on his condition.
According to law enforcement records, the man who was arrested is currently in the Kandiyohi County Jail pending charges of felony second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, felony third-degree assault with substantial bodily harm and misdemeanor domestic assault.
WILLMAR — A 22-year-old man was arrested on a felony drug charge during a Sunday night traffic stop on the corner of 15th Street and Becker Avenue Southeast.

Crash
WILLMAR — A delivery truck hit a shed Monday afternoon because the vehicle wasn’t in park and rolled back on the 1300 block of 22nd Street Southwest.
According to the report, a 2017 Ford F-550 truck damaged steel on the outside of West Central Industries around 6:30 a.m. Monday and the parties are exchanging insurance information.
Stolen catalytic converters
WILLMAR — A total of three catalytic converters were reported stolen, two Sunday afternoon and one Monday morning, from vehicles on the 3300 block of U.S. Highway 12 West.

Stolen handbag
ORTONVILLE — A brown handbag, containing credit cards, a bank card, Social Security card and $90, was reported stolen early Monday morning on the 700 block of Second Street Southeast.
According to the report, the vehicle had been parked, unlocked, in the driveway.
Kimball man injured in crash on icy road
ST. WENDEL TOWNSHIP — A Kimball man was injured following a Sunday morning crash according to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Cody Gangl, 19, of Kimball, was traveling northbound on County Road 2 near Apache Lane when he lost control of his 1995 Ford Ranger on an icy corner.
Gangl’s vehicle went into an uncontrollable spin and crossed over County Road 2, striking a support wire for a power pole on the northwest corner of the intersection with 95th Avenue.
His pickup truck came to a stop in the west ditch of County Road 2.

Gangl suffered face and head lacerations from the airbag deployment and a headache but mentioned no other injuries, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

He was treated by St. Joseph Fire and Rescue and Mayo Ambulance.
Stearns Electric was on scene to ensure the power line would not be a hazard and the vehicle was removed.
Redwood Falls man injured in crash
WILLOW LAKE TOWNSHIP — Bradley George Johnson, 30, of Redwood Falls, suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a Monday morning rollover crash in Willow Lake Township, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
According to the State Patrol, Johnson was northbound on U.S. Highway 71 when his 2008 Chevrolet Malibu crossed the center lane, entered the southbound ditch and rolled near County Road 4 east of Wanda.
Johnson's airbag did not deploy but he was wearing his seat belt. He was transported to Carris Health - Redwood Hospital
Alcohol is not listed as a factor on the crash report. Roads were dry.
The Redwood County Sheriff's Office, Wanda Fire Department and Ambulance, Lamberton Ambulance and Clements First Responders, assisted in the incident reported at 8:55 a.m. Monday.
