Willmar woman hurt in crash near Hutchinson
HUTCHINSON — A woman from Willmar suffered non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday in a single-vehicle crash near Hutchinson.
Latoya Patterson, 38, of Willmar, who was the passenger in the vehicle, was taken to the emergency room at Hutchinson Health.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol report, the crash occurred around 12:48 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Minnesota Highway 7 and Minnesota Highway 22. The 2014 Nissan Sentra, driven by Jermaine Shaheen Mohondhis, 36, of Portsmouth, Virginia, was headed westbound on Highway 7 when it lost control. The car went into the ditch and then struck a pole. Mohondhis was not hurt.

Both driver and passenger were wearing their seat belts, and alcohol was not involved. The State Patrol said roads had snow and ice on them at the time.
Assisting at the scene were the McLeod County Sheriff's Office, the Hutchinson Fire Department and Hutchinson Ambulance.
Single-vehicle crash near Buffalo Lake injures driver
BUFFALO LAKE — Hannah Michelle Larson, 22, of Inver Grove Heights, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 212 near Buffalo Lake.
The crash occurred around 10:05 a.m. Monday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Larson, was headed eastbound on the highway when it left the roadway near 545th Street. The vehicle then rolled into the ditch.
Larson, who was wearing her seat belt, was taken to the Glencoe Hospital. The road had snow and ice on it at the time, and alcohol was not involved.
Also responding to the crash were the Renville County Sheriff's Office, Buffalo Lake Fire Department and Buffalo Lake Ambulance.

An arrest made on assault call
WILLMAR — A 45-year old man was arrested after the Willmar Police Department responded to a domestic assault report around 12:48 p.m. Tuesday at a residence on the 2600 block of 15th Avenue Northwest in Willmar.
According to Willmar Police Chief Jim Felt, a neighbor found a woman in the hallway suffering from some kind of medical emergency. She said she had been assaulted by an individual in another apartment. Drugs were also discovered in the residence.
Multiple officers responded to the call. A search warrant was obtained so officers could search the apartment, Felt said.
