Willmar man injured in rollover near Blomkest

BLOMKEST — A Willmar man was injured following a one-vehicle rollover crash Monday morning north of Blomkest, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

According to the crash report, Steven Michael Sgarlata, 30, suffered non-life-threatening injuries around 6:06 a.m. Monday after he lost control of a 2007 Ford F-250 he was driving southbound on a snowy and icy U.S. Highway 71 in Roseland Township.

The truck went off the road and rolled.

Sgarlata was transported to Carris Health - Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

According to the State Patrol, he was wearing a seat belt and alcohol was not involved.

Lake Lillian Ambulance, the Blomkest Fire Department and the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office also responded to the incident.

Raymond woman injured in rollover near Clara City

CLARA CITY — A Raymond woman was injured following a rollover crash Monday morning on a snowy and icy state Highway 23 in Stoneham Township, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

According to the crash report, Betsey Lee Nonweiler, 39, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet S10 northbound on Highway 23 when it left the roadway east of 80th Avenue Southeast.

The truck rolled into the northbound ditch.

Nonweiler suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to CCM Hospital in Montevideo.

According to the report, she was not wearing her seat belt.

Alcohol was not involved, according to the State Patrol.

The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office, Clara City Police and the Maynard Fire Department and Ambulance also responded to the incident.

Minneapolis man injured in Monday morning truck rollover in Burbank Township

BURBANK TOWNSHIP — A Minneapolis man was injured following a rollover crash Monday morning on County Road 33, according to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the 36-year-old Minneapolis man was driving a 2017 Freightliner box truck eastbound on County Road 33 when it slid off the north side of the road and overturned west of 115th Street Northeast.

The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Carris Health - Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. His condition is unknown.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office.

The New London Fire Department and Ambulance Service assisted during the incident.

Crashes

SPICER — Multiple agencies responded to a vehicle that went off the road into a body of water Monday morning at the intersection of 172nd Avenue and Kandiyohi County Road 4 Northeast.

No injuries were listed on the report.

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, New London Fire Department and Ambulance, along with the Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad responded to the incident.

ATWATER — Multiple agencies responded to a rollover crash Monday morning on the 18600 block of U.S. Highway 12 Northeast.

According to the report, the vehicle was on its side and the occupants were unable to get out.

No injuries are listed on the report.

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, Atwater Fire Department and Ambulance, along with the Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad responded to the incident.

NEW LONDON — A 20-year-old New London man was involved in a rollover crash Monday morning after he fell asleep driving a blue 2017 Toyota pickup and went into a ditch at the intersection of 240th Avenue and 40th Street Northeast.

No injuries are listed in the report.

ATWATER — Law enforcement responded to a vehicle in a ditch Monday morning at the intersection of 195th Street and 30th Avenue Northeast, just north of Atwater.

According to the report, the incident involved a 2003 GMC Envoy, the only vehicle in the crash, that rolled over, which was unoccupied upon the arrival of Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

Deputies spoke to the registered owner and their sons who said they weren’t aware of the crash.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Warrant arrests

WILLMAR — A 42-year-old man was arrested on a warrant Monday afternoon on the 1700 block of 22nd Avenue Southwest.

WILLMAR — A 34-year-old man was arrested on a warrant Monday morning on the 500 block of Lakeland Drive Southeast.

Vehicle recovered

WILLMAR — A stolen motor vehicle was returned to the registered owner Sunday afternoon on the 1200 block of Becker Avenue Southwest.
