Fire destroys shed, contents

RICHMOND - A fire destroyed a shed and its contents including a camper, a truck, skid loader and other items on the 22000 block of Edgeton Road in Muson Township of Stearns County at 8:56 a.m. Saturday, the Stearns County Sheriff's Office reported.

The shed belongs to Patrick Roman Burg, 49, and Jennifer Diane Burg, 48, both of Richmond.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

The Chain of Lakes Fire Department responded to extinguish the fire. They were assisted by Richmond, Paynesville, St. Martin Fire Departments and Paynesville Ambulance.

Burglary

SUNBURG - An ice fishing house and ice fishing supplies were reported stolen Saturday in a burglary of a garage on the 20000 block of 121st Street Northwest, Sunburg.

Hit and runs

WILLMAR - Police are investigating reports of hit-and-run accidents involving parked vehicles being struck.

A car parked on the 400 block of Ann Street Southeast, Willmar, was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident reported Sunday morning.

A vehicle parked on the 400 block of Mason Street in Raymond was damaged in a hit-and-run incident reported Saturday afternoon.

A vehicle parked in a parking lot on the 1200 block of 24th Street Northwest, Willmar, was struck in the right front wheel area by a vehicle, it was reported Saturday evening.

Firefighters help motorist from tipped vehicle

NEW LONDON - New London volunteer firefighters helped a driver escape after the vehicle left the road and slid in a ditch and tipped on its side. The one-vehicle mishap was reported at 4:30 p.m. Friday at state Highway 9 and 71st Street Northeast, New London.
