Rollover injures Big Stone County driver

BIG STONE TOWNSHIP — A pickup rolled into the ditch Monday evening on snow- and ice-covered roads in Big Stone County, injuring the driver.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Danika Louise Gary, 31, of Barry, was driving a 1990 Chevy 1500 pickup north on U.S. Highway 75 north of Ortonville when the vehicle lost control and rolled into the ditch about 5:45 p.m. Monday.

Gary was transported to Ortonville Hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries. She was wearing a seat belt, and alcohol was not a factor, according to the report.

Ortonville Ambulance and the Ortonville Fire Department also responded to the scene at the intersection of Highway 75 and 380th Street.
