Arrests
WILLMAR - The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office arrested four people on drunken driving-related traffic stops late Wednesday and early Thursday. A sheriff’s deputy stopped a 21-year-old driver just before midnight Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and County Road 27 Northeast in Green Lake Township.
The man was arrested and cited for fourth-degree driving while impaired and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Two 19-year-old passengers were arrested for underage consumption around 1 a.m. Thursday after their vehicle was stopped near the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and 122nd Avenue Northeast in New London. The driver of the vehicle was also given a warning for speeding.
A 30-year-old man was arrested around 1:30 a.m. Thursday for third-degree gross misdemeanor driving while impaired. The man was stopped near County Road 9 and Fourth Avenue Southwest in New London.
