Burglary
BELVIEW - The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help with any information related to a burglary in rural Belview sometime between Dec. 12 and
Jan. 18. An unknown person allegedly entered an outbuilding and stole numerous remote controlled cars, trucks and a boat, totaling $2,000 in value. Anyone with information is asked to call the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office.
Fires
DARWIN TOWNSHIP - The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a house on fire around 3:30 p.m. Sunday on the 23400 block of 685th Avenue that had apparently been caused by a heat lamp inside a doghouse. The homeowner was not home and there were no injuries, but the house sustained about $20,000 in damage.

GROVE CITY - The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office and Grove City Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a fire just before 5 p.m. Monday at a business on the 300 block of Atlantic Avenue West. The fire is believed to have been caused by a small LP heater in a storage room. Damage to the business was minimal.
Theft
WILLMAR - Willmar police received a report of a theft around 6 p.m. Monday night. A man reported his Dell laptop, laptop case, and two books had been taken from his car on the 300 block of Lakeland Drive. The initial report did not indicate whether it was northeast or southeast Lakeland Drive.
