One hurt in collision north of Maynard
MAYNARD - A driver was hurt in a collision at the intersection of state Highways 277 and 7 north of Maynard at 8:53 a.m. Friday.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that William Morgan Schuneman, 64, of Maynard, was treated at the Granite Falls Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Schuneman was driving a 2013 Dodge Caravan westbound on Highway 7, according to the State Patrol.

A 1988 International semi-truck driven by Leroy Mark Jaenisch, 60, of Maynard, was northbound on Highway 277 and came to a stop. It entered the intersection and the vehicles collided.
Jaenisch was not injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not involved.
Theft
SPICER - An assortment of tools was reported stolen Friday evening from a vehicle on the 100 block of Lake Avenue South in Spicer. The owner reported the loss of a DeWalt driver, a Snap-On driver, and a variety of hand tools kept in a bag.
Bags of meth found during traffic stop
WILLMAR - Multiple bags holding a white crystalline substance that tested positive for methamphetamine were seized in a traffic stop at 3 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 71 and 60th Avenue Northeast in Kandiyohi County. A woman, 45, was taken into custody. A Kandiyohi County sheriff's deputy conducted a traffic stop due to her driving conduct.
