Accident
SPICER -- Three people were injured early Sunday morning west of Spicer when the vehicle they were in went through a T intersection, struck some trees and landed in a slough. The accident reportedly happened at around 5 a.m. at the intersection of Kandiyohi County Roads 10 and 9, but the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office was not notified until around 9 a.m.
According to a news release from the Sheriff's Office, the vehicle was reportedly driven by Ta-Raj Tondell Satari Benness Jr., 19, of St. Cloud. Passengers included Gerome Anthony Patine, 18, and Grant Alexander Monaghan, 18, who were also from St. Cloud
The three occupants suffered minor injuries, according to the report.
Busy holiday roads
SPICER -- Law enforcement officers were busy over the holiday weekend in Kandiyohi County with dozens of traffic stops, including incidents of excessive speed, minor crashes and minor drug possessions. Many verbal warnings were given, and citations were also issued to motorists.

Warnings and citations were also issued for watercraft violations, including operating a boat without proper lights at night and using paddle boards and kayaks without life jackets.
Fights
SPICER -- A fight near a bar and restaurant was reported at 2:14 a.m. Sunday in the 150 block of Lake Avenue South, with at least one citation issued for disorderly conduct. A fight was also reported on a public transit bus at 2:43 a.m. on state Highway 23 Northeast by Spicer. Central Community Transit provides sober rides via the Joyride program.
WILLMAR -- Police responded to a report of people fighting in the street at 12:27 p.m. Sunday at Becker Avenue Southwest and Seventh Street Southwest.
Arrest
WILLMAR -- A 27-year-old man was arrested at 7:12 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of 15th Avenue Southwest on several charges of domestic assault and criminal damage to property following reports that an individual was going to try to fight someone with a knife.
Gun shots
WILLMAR -- Willmar police took a report at 8:49 p.m. Saturday of two vehicles racing up and down Trott Avenue. Occupants of one of the vehicles reportedly fired a handgun in the air.
Theft
NEW LONDON -- An individual in the 300 block of Redwood Street Southwest reported at 9:14 a.m. Saturday the theft of items from a storage unit.
RAYMOND -- Theft of approximately $800 was reported at 12:47 a.m. Saturday from a residence in the 100 block of Fourth Street. A suspect was identified.
Loud music
SPICER -- At 11 p.m. Friday, law enforcement responded to a report of loud music being played by a live band at a residence in the 9700 block of Lake Avenue South. The homeowners were told they were in violation of county ordinance and advised that a permit would be required for future events.

Dumpster fire
KANDIYOHI -- A dumpster fire was reported at 10:48 p.m. Friday in the 6900 block of Kandiyohi County Road 4 Northeast.
Vandalism
WILLMAR -- At 10:28 a.m. Sunday an individual reported that a truck was damaged from fireworks in the 500 block of Charlotte Street Southeast.
