Burglary

ATWATER — Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s officers are investigating a report of a burglary at a residence on the 200 block of Ramsey Avenue East, Atwater, on Friday. Fishing poles, Billy the Bass wall fish, tools, tool boxes and a Gander Mountain inflatable bed were among the items reported missing.

Doors broken out

WILLMAR — Doors on two buildings on the 300 block of Fourth Street SW, Willmar, were broken out, it was reported shortly after 4 a.m. on Sunday.

Theft

WILLMAR — Willmar Police are reviewing surveillance video for possible theft charges against a couple who attempted to take unpaid merchandise from the Walmart Supercenter in Willmar shortly after 8 p.m. on Friday.

According to a report, the couple did not scan over $200 worth of merchandise at the self-checkout. When stopped at the door, they refused to let employees scan the items. They were refunded for the items they paid for and left without any merchandise.

Four encounter pepper spray

NEW LONDON — A New London Ambulance crew responded to a report that four people had been possibly contaminated by pepper spray on the 100 block of Lake Street, Spicer at 1:24 a.m. on Saturday. They were unsure how they had been exposed to the pepper spray or substance. No one was transported.

SPICER — A wedding ring was reported lost somewhere near the Little Crow Country Club on Sunday morning.

Animal concern

WILLMAR — A fox suspected of being infected by rabies was reported in the area of Ramblewood Avenue SW, Willmar, after 10 p.m. on Friday.

Smoky fire in backyard

WILLMAR — A black smoky fire, possibly from a mattress, was reported in the backyard of a residence on the 600 block of Seventh Street NW, Willmar around 3 p.m. on Saturday.
