Lac qui Parle County deputies involved in pursuit
YELLOW BANK TOWNSHIP — A vehicle pursuit that started in South Dakota during the overnight hours of June 23-24 ended in Yellow Bank Township in Lac qui Parle County.
According to the Lac qui Parle County Sheriff's Office, spike strips were deployed which assisted in slowing the car down. Once the car came to a stop, there was a short foot pursuit as the subject tried to flee police.
The subject was apprehended without incident. The individual could face charges of fleeing in a motor vehicle, driving while impaired and fleeing on foot, the Sheriff's Office said.
