WILLMAR - Matthew James Wrobleski, 41, of Olivia pleaded guilty Thursday to felony charges stemming from two separate incidents.
Wrobleski pleaded guilty to a charge of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle. According to the criminal complaint on the this charge, he is alleged to have fled from a Kandiyohi County sheriff’s deputy in June in New London.
As part of the plea agreement, an additional three misdemeanor charges in this case will be dismissed upon sentencing April 27.
Wrobleski also pleaded guilty Thursday to a felony charge of offering a forged check stemming from a July incident. He is alleged to have cashed a forged check for $650 at Heritage Bank, according to the criminal complaint on this case.
Additional felony charges of receiving stolen property and motor vehicle theft will also be dismissed upon sentencing.
WILLMAR - Johnnie Marie Tomlinson, 58, of Willmar was convicted Thursday of gross misdemeanor transaction card fraud.
Tomlinson was sentenced to one year of jail, stayed for three years, and sentenced to three years of probation.
An additional two charges of aggravated forgery were dismissed Thursday as part of a plea agreement.
An additional person tied to the case, Sharika Latoya Webb, 25, of Willmar was sentenced in January on a charge of financial transaction card fraud.
According to the criminal complaint on the charges, a woman reported unauthorized use of her debit card Aug. 27. She said she lost the card two days prior at Arby’s in Willmar.
The unauthorized purchases were made at various Willmar businesses. Video footage and receipts from those businesses showed evidence of Webb and Tomlinson making the purchases.
WILLMAR - Scott Arden Erickson, 47, of Lake Lillian pleaded not guilty Thursday to a felony second-degree drug sale charge.
A pre-trial hearing has been scheduled for May 12.
According to the criminal complaint on the charge, Erickson allegedly sold 7.1 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential information this July in Willmar.
Erickson allegedly admitted during an interview with a CEE-VI Drug Task Force agent that he sells meth and has been using the drug for 8-10 years.
Theft


SPICER - A trailer was reported stolen at 7:34 a.m. Friday from a business in the 8700 block of 47th Street Northeast.
WILLMAR - It was reported at 12:42 p.m. Friday that an employee of Home Depot in Willmar had stolen $500 from the business on March 6.
Crash


WILLMAR - A 45-year-old man was arrested for driving while impaired following a crash reported at 1:14 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Minnesota Avenue Southwest and Second Street Southwest.
