Hazardous materials team responds to oil spill at Willmar railyard
WILLMAR - It was reported around 12:37 p.m. Monday that about 500 gallons of oil spilled from one of the rail cars at the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railyard along Litchfield Avenue Southeast in Willmar.
Willmar Fire Chief Gary Hendrickson was on scene around 1 p.m. He said BNSF had contacted a hazardous materials team to clean up the scene.

HAWICK - It was reported at 10:46 a.m. Monday that numerous items were stolen from a house and a shed located in the 14000 block of 240th Avenue Northeast.

Criminal damage to property
BLOMKEST - It was reported at 9 p.m. Sunday that the tires of a vehicle had been slashed near the intersection of Kandiyohi County Road 5 and 186th Avenue Southwest.
Arrest
KERKHOVEN - A man was arrested for domestic assault around 10 p.m. Sunday in the 11000 block of Kandi-Swift Line Road Northwest.
