WILLMAR — A 21-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night on the 900 block of Second Street Southeast.

According to the report, the man had three outstanding warrants against him and he was cited for theft and motor vehicle tampering.


WILLMAR — A 21-year-old man was arrested for driving while impaired early Thursday morning on the corner of Lakeland Drive and High Avenue Northeast.

Stolen vehicle

WILLMAR — A vehicle was reported stolen Thursday morning from the parking lot of a business on the 600 block of Litchfield Avenue Southwest.


According to the report, the vehicle was stolen sometime during the night.


WILLMAR — A phone was reported stolen Wednesday afternoon on the 200 block of Fifth Street Southwest.

According to the report, the phone was tracked to a specific address.


BELGRADE — An identity theft was reported Wednesday afternoon on the 8100 block of 240th Avenue Northeast.


NEW LONDON — Possible threats against a school employee were reported Wednesday afternoon.

The case is under investigation.

Montevideo man sent to prison for sexually assaulting two pre-teen boys, 99 years of probation after release

WILLMAR — A Montevideo man has been sentenced to prison for repeated sexual assaults on two boys between 2012 and 2016.

Teenager injured in Wednesday evening rollover crash in Redwood County

REDWOOD FALLS — A 16-year-old was transported to Carris Health Redwood Hospital for injuries suffered in a Wednesday evening rollover crash south of Redwood Falls, according to a Redwood County Sheriff's Office news release.

Man fatally struck by semi while checking flat tire near Sisseton, SD

SISSETON, S.D. — A 78-year-old man kneeling by his pickup that had a flat tire was struck by a semi-truck and died Tuesday afternoon, March 2, on Interstate 29 near the North Dakota-South Dakota state border.
