Shoplifters
WILLMAR — Law enforcement responded to a shoplifting call around 11:20 a.m. Tuesday on the 700 block of 19th Avenue Southeast. According to the report, the person was cited for theft after being held in the business’ loss prevention office.
WILLMAR — A female shoplifter reportedly left her husband and stuff behind at a business around 4:50 p.m. Monday on the 700 block of 19th Avenue Southeast.
Theft
WILLMAR — A phone was reported as stolen around 8:20 p.m. Monday on the 900 block of Park Avenue Northwest. According to the report, the car was unlocked and the window had been left open. There were no other missing items and there was no damage to the car.
The caller used her “Find my iPhone” app which showed the phone was located in the area around the 500 block of Russell Street Northwest. Law enforcement spoke to employees at the location of an addiction program in the area who said they would speak to facility residents and try to locate the phone.
Stolen shoes
WILLMAR — A person was reported as breaking into a residence through a window and stealing someone’s shoes around 5:20 a.m. Tuesday on the 2600 block of First Street South. According to the report, the callers did not want law enforcement to do anything besides make sure the person did not come back. Law enforcement was not able to locate the person.

Domestic incidents
WILLMAR — Law enforcement arrived at a residence for a domestic call around 4:40 p.m. Monday on the 2600 block of First Street South.
According to the report, a woman that law enforcement was seeking left as they arrived and did not want to speak to them. A citation for domestic assault and fifth-degree assault was mailed to her.
WILLMAR — Law enforcement responded to a domestic call around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of Havana Street Northeast. According to the report, a caller said they wanted to leave but their wife would not let them.
Unwanted person
WILLMAR — A person was told not to return to a residence around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 1200 block of Becker Avenue Southwest.
According to the report, a woman came home to find a man inside her residence. The woman told law enforcement that she knew the man but suspected him of a previous bike theft and did not want him there.
Law enforcement located the man and told him not to return to the woman’s residence.
Accidents
WILLMAR — A semitractor clipped the side of a building around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday on the 800 block of Litchfield Avenue Southwest.
WILLMAR — A dog was injured after it was hit by a car around 1:22 p.m. Tuesday on the corner of Eighth Street and Kandiyohi Avenue Southwest.
