Man taken into custody in domestic

WILLMAR — Willmar police officers took a 27-year-old man into custody after responding to a report of a domestic incident around 9:30 Friday morning on the 1800 block of Eighth Avenue Southeast. The man had a knife to his throat, according to the report. He faces possible assault and domestic abuse charges.

One hurt in two-vehicle collision

WILLMAR — One driver was transported to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar with left leg pain following a two-vehicle collision around 1:11 p.m. Friday in the middle of the intersection of Third Street and Rice Avenue Southwest in Willmar. The driver of the other vehicle reported pain and bruising but declined medical attention. Both vehicles were towed.

Illegal dumping

SPICER — Large rocks were illegally dumped on the right of way along the 10000 block of U.S. Highway 71 Northeast, Spicer, it was reported at 8:08 a.m. Friday.

Drug paraphernalia

WILLMAR — A needle and tinfoil were discovered around 11:34 a.m. Friday in a building on the 1800 block of Technology Drive, Willmar. The items were destroyed.
