WILLMAR - A Willmar man’s vehicle stalled near the Holiday gas station after a prankster poured syrup in his gas tank, a woman on the 1500 block of Trott Avenue reported to Willmar police at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday. She said the incident likely happened between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.
Burglary
BELGRADE - A man on the 27700 block of 107th Street Northeast reported to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office just before 6 p.m. Monday that his home had been broken into and a safe containing $1,000 cash had been stolen.
Suspicious activity
BLOMKEST - A report of suspicious activity just before 12:30 a.m. Wednesday involving a vehicle on the 2460 block of 180th Avenue Southwest ended with three citations by Kandiyohi County sheriff’s deputies. A 21-year-old man was arrested for fifth-degree drug possession, and two others were cited for underage drinking and driving and underage consumption. The initial report said 127 grams of marijuana was seized from the vehicle.
