Power poles hit

NEW LONDON — A maroon, Chevorlet four-door sedan hit a pole around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of Dogwood Street Northeast.

According to the report, the vehicle left the scene headed into New London, as well as the power being out and power lines hanging low.

SPICER — A car took out the support system of some power poles around 6 a.m. Tuesday on the 13000 block of 172nd Avenue Northeast.

According to the report, the car was in a nearby pond and no one was in it.

Theft

NEW LONDON — A theft was reported around 6:20 a.m. Tuesday on the 5000 block of Highway 9 Northeast.

Damage to mailboxes

NEW LONDON — A report of three mailboxes being damaged was reported around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 17000 block of 115th Street Northeast. According to the report, the mailboxes were hit sometime between Monday night after dark and 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Sign hit

WILLMAR — A car hit a sign while trying to avoid another vehicle around 6 p.m. Monday on the corner of Highway 23 Bypass and First Street South.

Domestic incident

WILLMAR — Law enforcement responded to a report of a physical fight around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday on the 400 block of 15th Avenue Southwest.

Unwanted attention

WILLMAR — A man told law enforcement around 4:45 p.m. Monday that a woman has continually showed up at his house uninvited on the 600 block of Julii Street Southeast.

According to the report, the woman has left balloons, a card and flowers.

Law enforcement advised him of restraining order options and an extra patrol in the area was requested.
