Two injured in crash
WILLMAR — Two people were injured following a head-on collision Tuesday evening at the intersection of Highway 71 North and Ella Avenue Northwest.
According to the report, an eastbound driver lost control due to poor road conditions and crashed head-on with another driver.
The driver and a passenger in the eastbound vehicle were taken to Rice Memorial Hospital by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Willmar Police Department, Willmar Fire Department and the Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad responded to the crash.
Jackknifed semi
WILLMAR — A jackknifed semitractor-trailer was reported Tuesday night on the westbound bypass ramp of Highway 71 and First Street South.

According to the report, the driver was OK and the semi was off the roadway and not a road hazard.
DWI
WILLMAR — A 30-year-old man was arrested Tuesday afternoon for driving while impaired on the 1500 block of Becker Avenue Southeast.
