Arrests

WILLMAR – Two individuals were arrested at 12:47 a.m. Sunday in the 600 block of 18th Street Southwest on an assault that involved a knife.

WILLMAR – A 35-year-old man was arrested at 9:49 a.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of First Street South on an outstanding warrant and is currently being held in the Kandiyohi County Jail.

WILLMAR – A 42-year-old man was arrested at 11:31 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of 10th Street Southwest on a warrant and is currently being held in the Kandiyohi County Jail.

WILLMAR – A 60-year-old man was arrested at 7:43 p.m. Friday in the 1100 block of Grace Avenue Southwest on charges of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, fifth-degree assault and obstruction of legal process. He is currently being held in the Kandiyohi County Jail.

Accident

NEW LONDON – A report was filed at 6:58 p.m. Saturday that a vehicle reportedly ran off the road and struck a woodpile in the area of state Highway 9 Northeast and 195 Avenue Northeast. There was no driver in the vehicle when law enforcement arrived.

Theft

WILLMAR – The theft of a John Deer snowblower was reported at 5:59 p.m. Friday in the 4500 block of U.S. Highway 71 Northeast.

Fraud

WILLMAR – An individual told police their computer had been hacked and bank transactions had been attempted. The report was at 10:05 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Charlotte Street Southeast.

Weapons complaint

WILLMAR – Law enforcement responded to a report of weapons being fired at 10:29 p.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Country Club Drive Northeast.

WILLMAR – While responding to a weapons complaint at 10:47 p.m. Friday in the area of First Avenue Northwest and 33rd Street Northwest law enforcement spoke with an individual who had been shooting off fireworks. The individual was advised of the state law regarding fireworks and told to clean up the debris.

Vandalism

WILLMAR – The driver’s side window of a car was broken during an incident that was reported at 1:10 p.m. Saturday in the 3100 block of Seventh Avenue Northwest.
