Arrests

WILLMAR — A 47-year-old man was arrested for violating a harassment restraining order Monday afternoon and police responded to a call that someone threw a brick through a window at a residence on the 300 block of 14th Street Southwest.

WILLMAR — A 61-year-old man was arrested for second-degree driving while impaired Monday night on the 1600 block of U.S. Highway 12 East.

WILLMAR — A 27-year-old man was arrested for third-degree driving while impaired Monday night on the corner of Litchfield Avenue and Ferring Street Southeast.

Car fire

WILLMAR — Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire Tuesday morning at the intersection of Kandiyohi County Road 5 Northwest and Horizon Hills Road.

According to the report, the driver heard a loud pop at the rear of their vehicle and saw white smoke coming out of it when they got a ride home. The vehicle started on fire after they left the scene.

The Pennock and Willmar fire departments responded to the incident.

Assault

WILLMAR — An assault was reported Tuesday morning on the 1600 block of First Street South.

Thefts

WILLMAR — Multiple items were reported stolen Monday afternoon from a storage unit located on the 1000 block of Kandiyohi County Road 9 Northeast.

According to the report, a Harley-Davidson Sportster, a Craftsman snow blower, a power washer and some wood were stolen from the unit.

WILLMAR — Multiple items were reported stolen Tuesday morning from unlocked vehicles on the 700 block of Eighth Street Northwest.
