Vehicle crashes

NEW LONDON — A caller reported a U.S. Postal Service truck backed into their basketball hoop Tuesday afternoon on the 7000 block of 171st Avenue Northeast.

According to the report, the caller reported the incident to the postmaster and he will look at the damage.

Law enforcement advised the caller it was a civil matter.

NEW LONDON — A caller reported that their 18-year-old son crashed a 2014 Chevrolet Impala into an embankment Tuesday night after swerving to try and miss a dog at the intersection of 64th Street and 195th Avenue Northeast.

Theft

WILLMAR — A caller reported a male shoplifter had left on foot Tuesday afternoon from a business on the 3300 block of First Avenue South.

Neighborhood disturbance

WILLMAR — A caller reported their neighbor for loud music Tuesday afternoon on the 3900 block of Horizon Hills Circle.

According to the report, the caller wanted to press charges and the incident was referred to the Kandiyohi County Attorney for review.

Warrants

GAYLORD — A 34-year-old man was picked up for a warrant by a Kandiyohi County sheriff's deputy Tuesday afternoon from the Sibley County Jail.

LITCHFIELD — A 25-year-old woman was picked up for a warrant by a Kandiyohi County sheriff's deputy at the Meeker/Kandiyohi County line.
