Drug searches and arrests
WILLMAR — There were several drug-related search warrants and arrests in Willmar both Wednesday and Thursday, according to law enforcement reports.
The CEE-VI Drug Task Force, along with the Willmar Police Department and Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office, executed search warrants Wednesday at two addresses in Willmar.
One took place around 1:45 p.m. at a residence located on the 800 block of Campbell Avenue Northwest and the second occurred around 4:04 p.m. Wednesday at a residence on the 1200 block of 24th Street Northwest.
Willmar Police Department officers made two arrests for drugs around 5:26 p.m. Wednesday at a location on the 1200 block of Business 71 in Willmar. Seven police officers were involved in the arrests, according to the incident report.
A K-9 officer from the Willmar Police Department assisted in a traffic stop around 9:18 p.m. Wednesday around the 1400 block of Lakeland Drive Northeast in Willmar. The police dog completed a vehicle sniff of the stopped vehicle and a male individual was taken to jail on CEE-VI-related charges, the report said.

Law enforcement officials from the three agencies arrested a 30-year-old male for possession following a traffic stop around 11:02 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Fifth Street and Minnesota Avenue Southwest. The suspect was also give a verbal warning for speeding and improper lane usage.
