Vandalism to vehicles

WILLMAR - Willmar police took three separate reports Thursday morning of criminal damage to vehicles in southwest Willmar.

A vehicle in the 800 block of Fifth Street Southwest was spray-painted, a vehicle in the 400 block of 10th Street Southwest had a window broken and a vehicle in the 600 block of 10th Street Southwest had two windows broken.

Meanwhile, police took a report shortly after midnight Thursday from someone claiming to have seen people in a vehicle shooting at other vehicles in an area of Seventh Avenue and 19th Street Southeast.

That vehicle was described as a SUV with a white top and a black bottom.

According to the initial police report, no vehicle fitting that description was found and there were no damaged vehicles located in that area.

Theft

BELGRADE - An individual in the 13000 block of state Highway 55 Northeast reported the theft of a credit card from a rural Belgrade business. The card was used to make a cash withdrawal and to purchase gift cards, according to the initial report.

The incident was reported at 9:49 a.m. Wednesday to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office.
