Escape from custody
WILLMAR - A 26-year-old woman was arrested just after 3:30 p.m. Sunday for escaping from custody. Kandiyohi County sheriff's deputies, as well as officers from the Willmar Police Department and Kandiyohi County jail assisted with apprehending the woman and bringing her back to jail.
Possible gunshot heard
WILLMAR - The Willmar Police Department received report of a gunshot or firecracker heard around 6 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Third Street and Becker Avenue Southwest. An officer checked the area, and found no signs that shots were fired.

Garage break-in
PENNOCK - A snow blower and multiple tools were among several items reported stolen from a garage on the 400 block of First Street North in Pennock. A man told the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office at 10:24 a.m. Monday that the items were missing, and said he had last been in his garage Sunday night.
Arrest after crash
LITCHFIELD TOWNSHIP - A 20-year-old Grove City man was arrested for driving while impaired following a rollover crash early Saturday on the 56800 block of Meeker County Road 11 in rural Litchfield.
Jonathan Moreno was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital after the 2:30 a.m. crash, according to the Meeker County Sheriff's Office.
Preliminary investigation indicates Moreno's vehicle left the rural county road and rolled, according to the release.
Two injured in separate Meeker County crashes
LITCHFIELD - A 47-year-old Watkins woman and a 79-year-old Litchfield man were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after separate crashes Friday.

The first crash happened just after 1 p.m. Friday, east of Eden Valley in Forest Prairie Township.
Lisa Colon had been driving west on state Highway 55. When a vehicle in front of her slowed to turn onto Meeker County Road 34, Colon swerved and crashed into the ditch.
She was transported to Paynesville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Meeker County Sheriff's Office. Her vehicle sustained minor damage.
The second crash happened just after 5 p.m. in rural Litchfield.
The Sheriff's Office says Warren Newgaard drove off the right side of 288th Street while traveling eastbound.
His vehicle flipped and struck a tree, trapping him inside the vehicle. The Litchfield Fire Department and Litchfield Rescue extricated Newgaard from the vehicle.
He was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says alcohol is a suspected factor in Newgaard's crash, which remains under investigation.
