Faribault man injured in truck rollover in Renville County
HECTOR — A Faribault man was injured in a rollover of a truck Saturday in Renville County south of Hector.
Travis Don Borchert, 31, of Faribault was taken to the Olivia Hospital and Clinics with non-life threatening injuries.
According to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol, Borchert was driving a 1980 Mack straight truck south on Minnesota Highway 4 in Martinsburg Township. The truck rolled when Borchert drove into a ditch to avoid a collision and rolled. The truck did not strike the other vehicle.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, and Borchert was not wearing a seat belt, according to the State Patrol report.
The Renville County Sheriff’s Offic e assisted at the scene.

Theft
WILLMAR — A purse, wallet and debit card were reported stolen Friday evening from a car in the 800 block of Seventh Street Southwest during the Willmar Cardinals football game.
Found property
WILLMAR — A purse was found on the side of the road in the 900 block of Sixth Street Southwest. The owner said cash was missing, but the rest of the contents were inside.
Suspicious circumstances
WILLMAR — A resident in the 1400 block of 16th Street Southwest reported Friday afternoon that a man had entered their home through an open garage door. The owner was home and yelled, and the man ran out of the house. The man was described as white, 5’10” tall, wearing a black hoodie and jeans.
WILLMAR — A resident in the 500 block of Grace Avenue Southwest reported that a man who had previously broken into their house stopped in front of the house Friday afternoon. The man pointed his phone at the resident who was concerned the man had taken a photo of their face and was going to come back to the house. He was told to contact the Willmar Police Department if he saw the person again.
Arrests
SPICER — A 26-year-old woman was arrested early Saturday on drug charges at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 23 and 71st Street Northeast. She remained in the Kandiyohi County Jail Sunday.
SPICER — A 28-year-old man was arrested early Saturday on suspicion of third-degree driving while impaired at Highway 23 and Kandiyohi County Road 10. He was still in the county jail Sunday.
SPICER — A 52-year-old man was arrested late Saturday for driving while impaired at Highway 23 and County Road 10. He was not listed on the County Jail roster Sunday.
SPICER — A 20-year-old man was arrested for third-degree driving while impaired early Sunday at Highway 23 and County Road. He was still in custody Sunday afternoon.

WILLMAR — A 55-year-old man was arrested late Saturday for third-degree driving while impaired at First Street South and Minnesota Avenue. He was not listed on the jail roster Sunday.
CEE-VI Task Force honored for community impact
WILLMAR — The CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force, based in Willmar and serving several area counties, was awarded the 2021 Narcotics Task Force of the Year award Tuesday at the annual Minnesota State Association of Narcotics Investigators conference in Nisswa, Minnesota, according to a news release from the task force.
