Truck goes into slough

NEW LONDON — Emergency responders were called at 7:20 a.m. Monday to a report that a truck had gone into a slough on the 20000 block of Highway 9 near New London. The driver reported that he fell asleep and was able to drive the truck from the scene.

Pumpkins tossed from overpass

WILLMAR — Police responded to a report at 10:33 p.m. Sunday that youths were throwing pumpkins from the 15th Street Southwest overpass of state Highway 23 in Willmar.


WILLMAR — Willmar police are investigating a report that a suspect broke into a property on the 200 block of Benson Avenue Southeast and took $100 in cash.
