Two injured in crash in Willmar Saturday
WILLMAR — Two men were injured in a single-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Willmar.
A 2015 Freightliner semi tractor/trailer was traveling south from Minnesota Highway 23 bypass onto U.S. Highway 71 when it overturned, according to the Minnesota State Patrol report.
The driver, Mohamed Noor Madey, 31, of Willmar, and passenger, Phanor Noelsaint, 39, of Miami Gardens, Florida, were taken to Meeker Memorial Hospital in Willmar with non-life threatening injuries. Both men were wearing seat belts.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Patrol at the scene.
Woman injured in collision in Eden Valley Friday
EDEN VALLEY — A Litchfield woman was injured Friday evening in a two-vehicle crash at Minnesota Highway 22 and Minnesota Highway 55 in Meeker County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol report, a 2018 Jeep Renegade was traveling south on Highway 22 and a 2016 Mazda CX-5 was traveling east. The vehicles collided in the intersection.
The driver of the Jeep, Bridget Ann Rogalski, 46, of Litchfield, was taken to Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Mazda, Virginia Ann Dvorak, 73, of Maple Grove, was uninjured.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
Arrests
WILLMAR — A 32-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were arrested after a traffic stop early Saturday at Third Street and Grace Avenue Southwest. The man was arrested for fleeing in a motor vehicle and reckless driving. The woman was arrested for fleeing on foot and on an outstanding Department of Corrections warrant.
Sign thefts
ATWATER — A Biden sign was reported stolen from the intersection of Highway 12 and County Road 4 Northeast in Atwater. It was reportedly taken Friday night.
WILLMAR — A Trump sign was reported taken from a yard in the 700 block of 28th Avenue Southwest. Two other signs in the yard were not taken.

Property damage
RAYMOND — A resident in the 100 block of Third Avenue West reported that a sliding glass door had been broken by what appeared to be a BB gun. The value of the thermal glass door was estimated at $1,400.
Fraud
WILLMAR — A woman reported to Willmar Police that she had received a call from someone claiming to be with Medicare, asking for her card number and expiration date so she could be issued a new card. She was advised to contact Medicare's fraud department and watch her medical statements for any signs of fraudulent activity.
