Homecoming 'shenanigans'

SPICER — At least four groups of people were stopped by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office late Monday night in the Spicer area for “homecoming shenanigans,” according to police reports.

Two of the reports included an attempt to toilet paper residences before law enforcement intervened.

One report on the 15000 block of 154th Street Northeast in Hawick involved several vehicles going to either toilet paper a residence or going to defend the residence.

According to that report, paintball guns were used but law enforcement was unable to locate the vehicles that used them. A traffic stop by a deputy did turn up an inoperable paint gun.

No arrests or citations were listed on the reports and parties were advised to go home.
