WILLMAR -- A two-vehicle accident around 5:20 p.m. Friday at the intersection of 19th Avenue Southwest and Ninth Street near Casey's General Store sent two to the hospital.

According to the incident report, a 1996 Chevy Blazer was westbound on 19th Avenue until a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am pulled off Ninth Street to the north of 19th Avenue, attempting to turn left and head eastbound. The Blazer T-boned the Grand Am on the driver's side of the vehicle as the Grand Am was next to the median turning lane.

The two people traveling in the Grand Am, including Mandy Jo Augeson, 23, of Willmar, were transported immediately to the Rice Hospital emergency room. Their status is unknown.

The driver of the Blazer was unharmed.

Six different units from the Willmar Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, the Willmar Fire Department, and Willmar ambulance service responded to the accident and cleared the area in 40 minutes.

Theft

WILLMAR -- A purse was reported stolen around 1:15 p.m. Saturday from a garage sale on the 200 block of Havanna Street in Willmar. A 53-year-old woman said her purse containing $125 cash was stolen. The black leather purse with the letter "A" written in pink on the side also contained a debit card, American Express credit card, driver's license and medical cards.

Criminal damage to property

WILLMAR -- A property damage call was received around 3:15 p.m. Friday from the Bread of Life store at 200 Fourth St. S.W. The caller reported that the front door window was cracked, indicating a possible attempted break-in.

RAYMOND -- Criminal damage to a caller's vehicle was reported around 4:10 p.m. Friday from the 6700 block of 60th Avenue Southwest in Raymond. The caller said his vehicle was damaged by people at his workplace. The damage to the vehicle was valued between $2,000 and $3,000.

WILLMAR -- A property damage call was received around 2:30 a.m. Saturday from Print Masters in Willmar. The caller reported the door window on the east of the building was broken.

WILLMAR -- A property damage call was received around 2 p.m. Saturday from the 2600 block of County Road 9 Northeast. The caller said someone drove a vehicle through his lawn and hit his mailbox.

SPICER -- A female called with a property damage complaint around 11 p.m. Saturday from the 11000 block of 150th Street Northeast in Spicer. She said she had a 2- to 3-pound rock thrown through her bedroom window.

WILLMAR -- Criminal damage to a caller's vehicle was reported around 9 p.m. Sunday from the Bihi Shop of African Food at 212 Fifth St. S.W. The caller reported graffiti being marked on his vehicle, including a swastika written on the front window in black permanent marker.
