WILLMAR -- The Cash Wise Foods building became a target for gang-related graffiti twice this past weekend.
Store staff reported to Willmar Police Friday night that the building had been spray-painted with graffiti. A second incident, believed to have taken place overnight Friday, was reported Saturday morning.
Graffiti also was spray-painted on several electrical and power boxes and street signs in the neighborhood of Ninth Street Southeast and 20th and 24th Avenues Southeast.
On Sunday morning, Ace Sign Company reported that graffiti had been spray-painted on the north and west sides of the building.

HAWICK -- The sound of gunshots was reported early Sunday morning by a rural Hawick resident along 231st Avenue, who later found a bullet hole in the side of a shed. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
Thefts
ATWATER -- A trailer was reported stolen Friday from the yard of a home on North Main Street, just outside Atwater. The trailer is valued at $2,000.
WILLMAR -- Stereo equipment worth $800 to $1,000 were stolen overnight Saturday from a car while it was parked in the 1300 block of 24th Street Northwest.
Accidents
GRANITE FALLS -- A Granite Falls man was injured when his pickup truck left the road Friday evening on 35th Avenue Southeast, north of Granite Falls.
The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office said Benjamin David Fischer was northbound when he lost control. His truck slid into the ditch and hit the ditch embankment. Fischer, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by Granite Falls Ambulance to the Granite Falls Hospital, where he was treated and released.
The Granite Falls Fire and Police Departments also assisted at the scene.

WILLMAR -- Minor injuries were reported in a two-car crash Friday afternoon on Willmar Avenue, just west of First Street.
Neither driver was injured, but a passenger in one of the vehicles was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital for treatment. A passenger in the second car was checked at Affiliated Community Medical Centers for minor injuries.
