Three hurt in Meeker County intersection crash
DASSEL - Three people were injured when a semitruck and pickup truck collided at 8:49 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 and state Highway 15 near Dassel in Meeker County.
A 2001 Sterling tandem semi driven by Duane Lyle Mattson, 57, of Dassel, was traveling northbound on Highway 15. A GMC Sierra driven by Rudolph Dwight Nyquist, 84, of Cokato, was traveling eastbound on Highway 12. The vehicles collided in the intersection, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Both drivers and Marie Ann Nyquist, 82, a passenger in the GMC Sierra, were transported to the Hutchinson Hospital for treatment of injuries that the report described as non-life-threatening. One of the injured was transported by ambulance and the other two by private vehicles.

The injured were all wearing seatbelts, according to the accident report, and alcohol was not a factor.
The Meeker County Sheriff's Office and Dassel Fire and Gold Cross Ambulance also responded.
Cold Spring man hurt in Willmar Township crash
WILLMAR - A 37-year-old Cold Spring man suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 5:11 p.m. Tuesday on the Highway 71 ramp to U.S. Highway 12 in Willmar Township.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that Matthew Scott Barak, of Cold Spring, was treated at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
A 2003 Subaru Outback driven by Michael Denis Walkow, 49, of Willmar, was traveling west on Highway 12 and approaching Highway 71. A 2013 Honda CRV driven by Barak was stopped on Highway 71 at Highway 12. The CRV began to make a left turn when it was struck by the Outback, according to the State Patrol.
The airbags deployed in both vehicles and the drivers were wearing seatbelts, according to the report. Alcohol was not involved.
One hurt in Pope County crash

GLENWOOD - A Glenwood man was treated at Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood for injuries he suffered at 7:26 a.m. Monday when his vehicle went off the road and struck a tree near Amelia Lake in Pope County.
Aaron Emmett Kuseke, 38, of Glenwood, was driving a 2002 Ford pickup eastbound on Highway 28 when the mishap occurred, according to information from the Minnesota State Patrol. He was wearing a seatbelt, and alcohol was not involved.
The Pope County Sheriff's Office, Glacial Ridge Ambulance and Glenwood Fire and Rescue units also responded.

NEW LONDON - A Bobcat was reported stolen Wednesday from a site on 212th Avenue Northeast, New London.
Hit and run
WILLMAR - A woman reported Wednesday morning that her vehicle had been hit and damaged while it was parked on the 1600 block of U.S. Highway 12 East in Willmar.
