BENSON -- Redball LLC announced Wednesday that it will consolidate all its heavy manufacturing at its plant in Willmar.
All employees currently working at the west plant in Benson will be offered positions in Willmar.
The company's headquarters, as well as light manufacturing, assembly and training functions, will continue to be located in Benson at its east plant on Highway 12. An affiliated company, Custom Roto-Mold, also is located in Benson.
"This is an important change for our company as we adapt to an increasingly competitive marketplace," said Steve Claussen, president of Redball, in a news release.
By concentrating its heavy manufacturing at a single location, Redball will be better able to capture efficiencies to help maintain the company's market position, he said.

"Our commitment to our employees, Benson and the broader community is as strong as ever," Claussen said.
The transition to the consolidated Willmar Fabrication plant will begin immediately and is expected to be complete by June 1. The company will offer a rideshare and/or van pooling program to help employees minimize the cost of transportation to Willmar.
Redball will retain ownership of its west plant in Benson for future expansion, which is part of its five-year business plan.
Redball is a manufacturer of self-propelled, high-clearance trailer and row-crop sprayers for agriculture. Through its affiliated companies, Willmar Fabrication and Custom Roto-Mold, it also custom-designs and manufactures heavy equipment and rotomolded plastics on behalf of a wide range of original equipment manufacturers.
