Friends and family members of a Duluth woman missing for nearly two months joined police Friday morning to announce a reward they hope will help solve the case.

Lt. Mike Ceynowa announced that the Duluth Police Department is offering $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the "arrest and conviction of those responsible for the disappearance" of Sheila St. Clair.

Police have said they suspect foul play was involved in the disappearance of St. Clair, 48, who was last seen on Sept. 1.

She was believed to have been traveling to White Earth, Minn., but never arrived. Authorities and family members said it was unusual for her to be out of contact for an extended period of time.

St. Clair is described as a Native American female, 5 feet 5, 125 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
