NEW LONDON -- Reynold Joseph Olson, 78, of New London died Tuesday at GlenOaks Care Center in New London.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Evangelical Covenant Church in New London. Burial will be at Colfax Cemetery in rural New London.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home in New London and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
He was born Nov. 12, 1927, in Colfax Township to Joseph and Inez (Larson) Olson. He attended grade school in Dist. 13 and graduated from New London High School in 1945.

He married Mary Ellen McLouth on Sept. 24, 1955. They lived on and ran a dairy farm in Colfax Township. They retired in 1995.
He was a member of Evangelical Covenant Church in New London and had served on the Colfax Township board.
He is survived by his wife; children: Mark Olson of Hawick, Lynn Olson of Evanston, Ill., Jane Olson (and husband Dan Badger) of Duluth, John Olson of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings: DeWayne (and Olive) Olson of New London, Richard (and Carmen) Olson of Spicer and Ruth (and Lyndon) Norsten of Willmar.
