Haley Rhoades of Newberg, Ore., and Jonathan Crowl, of Tigard, Ore., are engaged to be married Aug. 7 at Living Springs Church in Brandon, S.D.
Rhoades is the daughter of Bruce and Lola Rhoades of Brandon, formerly of Willmar.
She is a 2004 graduate of Brandon Valley High School in Brandon and a 2007 graduate of Northwestern College in St. Paul with a degree in psychology. She is pursuing a doctorate of psychology at George Fox University in Newberg.
Crowl is the son of Ken and Nancy Crowl of Omaha, Neb.
He is a 2004 graduate of Millard West High School in Omaha and a 2009 graduate of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln with a bachelor's degree in English. He is employed by Demand Media as a writer.
