WINDOM -- Richard Bruce Holt, 65, of Windom, formerly of Willmar, died Monday at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at LaCanne Family Funeral Service in Windom.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
He was born Jan. 27, 1941, in Willmar to Joseph and Nora (Ronning) Holt. He attendedf Willmar Public Schools and graduated in 1959. He graduated from Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa, in 1961.

He married Diana Holifer on Nov. 19, 1961. This marriage was later dissolved. He married Marilyn Mack on Sept. 2, 1979, in Fairmont. He drove truck for Larson Transfer of Bloomington and retired in 1998. He also worked part time for Cenex.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Windom and he acted as treasurer. He was also a member of the Windom Senior Center, where he served on the board for three years and was the treasurer for one term. He also volunteered for Meals on Wheels.
He is survived by his wife; sons: Bruce Holt of Willmar, Jeff Holt of Nampa, Idaho; three grandchildren; and two siblings: Judy (and Raymond) Smith, and Gary (and Marcia) Holt of Mankato.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
