LITCHFIELD -- Richard H. "Dick" Hervey, 75, of Litchfield died Wednesday at Bethany Home in Litchfield.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Litchfield United Methodist Church.
Arrangements are with Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Litchfield. Memorials are preferred to Litchfield United Methodist Church or Augustana Lutheran Homes in Litchfield.

He was born Oct. 29, 1931, in Winona to Ray and Iva Hervey. He graduated from Winona Senior High in 1949. He graduated in 1953 from Hamline University in St. Paul where he majored in music. He then served in the U.S. Army Security Agency. He attended the Army's Language Institute in Oberammergau, Germany. He served in Frankfurt until 1958. He worked as an electronics sales associate for 29 years for Buckbee Mears Company in St. Paul, Denver, Allentown, Pa., and Hightstown, N.J.
He married Jackie Jacobson in 1970 in Denver. They moved to Litchfield in 1987 and he worked at Litchfield Precision Electronics. He retired in 1994.
He tutored math at the high school, was a member at the Litchfield Golf Club and sang in the choir at the United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his son: Todd; one grandson; former daughter-in-law: Joni (and Joe) Mendyk-Bliss of South St. Paul; first wife: Jean Raz of Winona; and one brother: Bob (and Barbara) of Carlisle, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie, in November; one daughter: Heidi in 1964; and one granddaughter.
