MAPLE PLAIN -- Richard H. Inselmann, 57, of Medina, formerly of the Cosmos, Litchfield and Atwater areas, died Aug. 22.
Funeral services were held Monday at Christ Lutheran Church in Maple Plain. Burial was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by David Lee Funeral Home in Maple Plain.
He was born April 23, 1948, in Cosmos, the son of Harvey and Frieda Inselmann. He graduated high school in Litchfield, and served in the U.S. Navy. Most recently he was employed by the city of Minneapolis for 29 years.
Surviving are his wife, Karla; step-son Tony Dylla (and fiancé Sara); sisters, Eileen (and Jim) Hegge of Big Lake and Jan (and Greg) Martin of Hutchinson; brothers, Galen, Ken (and Lynn), Neil (and Joanne) and Leland, all of Atwater; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two daughters, Dedra and Darcy.
