MONTEVIDEO -- Richard Ronald Kiroff, 81, of Montevideo died Saturday at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
He was born Nov. 30, 1924, to Mike and Minnie (Wolff) Kiroff. He was a lifelong resident of Montevideo and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1942. He served in the Navy Seabees in the South Pacific during World War II.

On Sept. 17, 1946, he married Beverly Frederickson in Granite Falls. He was a building contractor and carpenter in Montevideo and later operated Kiroff Construction with his son Rick. He had been living at Brookside Manor where he served on the residence council.
He is survived by three daughters, Constance (and Robert) Bovee of Macungie, Pa., Barbara Ebers of Jacksonville, Fla., and Katherine (and Randall) Slocum of Gilbert, Iowa; a daughter-in-law, Victoria Kiroff of Montevideo; a son-in-law, Nathan Miles of Duncanville, Texas; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, and Patricia (and Arden) Anderson of Montevideo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, in 1969; and four children, Richard in 1998, Janis Miles in 2005, and two daughters in infancy; and one sister.
