WATKINS -- Richard Wesley "Dick" Walter, 77, of Watkins died Tuesday at Emmanuel Home in Litchfield.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Annandale. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery in South Haven.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield.
He was born May 22, 1928, in Hector to August and Lydia (Pierson) Walter. He grew up and received his education in Hector.

He married Murial Novak on Oct. 20, 1960, in Annandale. He lived in Minneapolis and Annandale and moved to Watkins after he retired.
He is survived by his wife; and two brothers: David Walter and Floyd (and Una) Walter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
