COLLEGEVILLE -- Five wrestlers went 2-1 for Ridgewater Saturday as the Warriors went 1-2 at the Terry Haws Duals hosted by St. John's University.
The Warriors, a Division III junior college, opened with a 25-18 win over Wisconsin-Eau Claire before falling to the host 17-16. The Warriors then fell 36-10 to Concordia-Moorhead. All three of the Warriors' opponents are Division III schools in the NCAA.
Jimmy Marx at 125 pounds, Brandon Schunk at 133, Jarret Hall at 165, Ted Sather at 184 and heavyweight Ben Thonvold all won two of three matches for Ridgewater, which is 6-3 in dual matches.
The Warriors are at Rochester Tuesday for a Minnesota Community College Conference dual.
