MADISON, Wis. -- Another tournament, another championship for the Ridgewater College Lady Warriors.
The 2006 national volleyball champions added the Region 13A title to their trophy case on Saturday with a convincing 30-23, 30-16, 30-19 win over Madison Area Technical College, which hosted the four-team playoff.
The championship followed by one week a conquest of its state foes at the MCCC State Tournament in Willmar.
The Lady Warriors improved to 29-8 and remained unbeaten against NJCAA Division III opponents.
The national tournament is still two weeks away, again hosted by Rochester (Minn.) Community and Technical College.

The Lady Warriors could do little wrong at Madison, sweeping Milwaukee Tech on Friday 30-15, 30-11 and 30-12.
In the championship match, Brittany TerWisscha with 11 kills and Jackie Noyes with four ace blocks led the Lady Warriors front- line superiority.
Jordan Olerud added 10 kills, Leah Miller nine and Noyes and Hilary Groothuis eight. Ashley Hennen supplied 16 digs, plus three ace serves, and Jenna Olson 11 digs on defense.
"We were very balanced, stable, ran the offense well and blocked," said coach Joe Sussenguth. "Everyone contributed. Every aspect of our game was good."
Sussenguth said the team will take today off before resuming practice for the nationals. The eight qualifying teams will play three pool matches on Friday, leading up to championship and consolation play on Saturday.
